Don Syme Speaking @FSUG

Please join us as Don Syme (a leading contributor to the F# programming language) will give an informal talk called “Meditations on Type Providers” about the applications, research directions and philosophy of one of the new features in F# 3.0. Don is in town to visit MSR New England and to talk at Monkeyspace.

Location

This will be the first time meeting at One Cambridge Center in Cambridge, MA. Please use the Main Street entrance to the building (across from Cosi), then register your name with security and take the elevator to the 4th floor.  We will not be at the NERD center, we will be at the new Microsoft offices a couple of blocks away above the Kendall Square T stop (subway station).

Party

We will be going to the MonkeySpace party afterwards, but we must pay for our own drinks.  (MonkeySpace http://monkeyspace.org/ is a sold-out conference formerly called Monospace for cross plaform development using .NET technologies that Don is also speaking at)

Moving to Meetup

F# User Group Note: We will be using Meetup for all future events, so even if you are not attending, join the meetup group at http://www.meetup.com/New-England-F-Users-Group to ensure you are informed about upcoming events.
